Luke Alston Jones was born yesterday, September 6, 2009 at 4:37pm. He weighed in at 9lbs 4oz, and is 21 inches long. Melissa labored for 24 hours and pushed for 2.5 hours, hence the reason you have me as an interim blogger. She'll girl it up for you later with more pics and stuff. You girls would be proud though. Melissa pushed relentlessly, packed enough clothes for Luke's first year on Earth, AND, she had the foresight to wear water proof mascara for labor.

    Awesome job Greg with the post, and I am so proud of your wife. How amazing is she, delivering a nine pound baby boy! Saw the pic! He looks adorable. Can't wait to get my hands on him. Yeah Melissa!
