Lindsay's shower!- LONG POST AHEAD...

This past Saturday we showered James Thomas with fun goodies! The weekend started on Friday afternoon when I went to the airport to pick up our dear friend Karen who flew in from Kentucky to help host the shower! It was so great to see her and catch up. Once we arrived home, Jordan, Stacy, and Liz were already here from Dallas. We spent the evening catching up over a yummy Escalante's dinner then back to Lindsay's for some quality late night chatting!

Saturday was the shower! It turned out great and I think Lindsay has all she needs for little James Thomas! After the shower, the Dallas crew headed back and Karen, Lindsay, Julie, Mandi, and me went out for another mexi meal at Ninfa's then on to Marble Slab to finish the night!

Sunday morning Greg and I met the Garrett's and Karen at House of Pies for a delish breakfast before getting Karen to the airport. Just when I thought I could not eat another thing, I had the eggs Benedict! I feel so blessed to have a group of wonderful friends and the opportunity to spend these special times together. Needless to say, by Sunday night I was EXHAUSTED and FULL!

The pics turned out REALLY blurry. I think it is time for a new camera...just what Greg is going to want to hear after recently having to replace the A/C in our house AND our computer! I guess everything is deciding to break all at once! (side note: while the girl activities of the weekend were taking place, Greg built the new computer...yes, built it! who knew he had that in him...he said it was cheaper than buying one and I think he had fun doing it! such a handyman :-)
